It is a step or two outside my direct area of interest, but I think it's going to help revive interest in Greyhawk.

but also provide a way for 5th Edition fans to run Temple of Elemental Evil for 5e players, without it being a TPK machine. So it looks like this and other Original Adventures Reincarnated products provide little bits of extra details (they mentioned lists of named NPCs) that are great for someone wanting a boost to their 1e experience. Want this to work for 5e fans, who have never played the original.Want this to work for original 1e fans and also.The fact that Goodman Games has an entire team on Temple of Elemental Evil.and that they are talking about preserving the original monster line-up, but also giving the GM notes to adapt encounters to 5e alternative options (so that certain monsters don't become a TPK) shows that they both: (And I kind of prefer the way of keeping the canon as close to how it was written as possible, and working out a way to adapt to fit with the canon.) So I would have to come up with a convoluted way to get spacefarers to those locations.or reboot the adventures. Right now Original Adventures Reincarnated is working on iconic adventures that pretty much have no direct connection with any of the places where a spelljamming ship might land on Oerth. I've not bought any of these Original Adventures Reincarnated yet (I'm obviously going to be all over them, if/when Goodman Games starts to get to Spelljammer adventures, but I don't know if they will ever get beyond the 1st Edition Era products). The stuff about Temple of Elemental Evil is about 40 minutes in, when Joseph Goodman brings in two other people to talk with him.
